MES Manufacturing Execution System

Custom MES development brings together work orders, dispatch, production reporting, quality inspection and batch traceability. Equipment and ERP data integration can be planned around your requirements.

Connect shop-floor activities with traceable production records

Wideray develops manufacturing execution systems around your processes, workstations and management needs. Start with one line or workflow and expand in stages across precision machining, assembly or general manufacturing.

Modules available for project planning

  • Work orders and dispatch: Create work orders, assign workstations and routing, and track operation progress.
  • Production reporting: Record operators, working hours, good and rejected quantities, and stoppage reasons.
  • Quality and exceptions: Connect inspection results, defect reasons and exception-handling records.
  • Batch and serial traceability: Link materials, processes and inspection records to a product history.
  • Equipment and measurement data: Assess data collection, status monitoring and measurement imports against available equipment interfaces.
  • Dashboards and integration: Design operational dashboards and assess data exchange with ERP and WMS systems.

This is a custom development service. Features, interfaces, deployment, pricing and delivery schedule are defined after reviewing your requirements and available systems.

Try a workflow before planning your project

The Chinese-language demo includes precision machining, assembly and general manufacturing scenarios. Explore work orders, dispatch, reporting, quality checks and traceability using fictional data. Data stays in the current browser; the demo has no live equipment or enterprise system connections. Do not enter actual production data.

Project planning
Service type Custom manufacturing execution system development
Applications Precision machining, assembly and general manufacturing
Module scope Work orders, reporting, quality, traceability and dashboards; scoped per project
Integration Equipment, measurement systems, ERP and WMS; subject to interface assessment
Deployment On-premises or cloud, assessed against network, security and maintenance needs
Project quotation Quoted after reviewing modules, workstations, interfaces and acceptance scope

Choose a workflow close to your shop floor

  • Precision machining: Machining → measurement → inspection.
  • Assembly: Material preparation → assembly → testing → packing.
  • General manufacturing: Production → inspection → stock-in.

Choose a scenario, create an order, dispatch work, report partial quantities, inspect quality and review traceability. CSV export and reset are available for testing.

Demo scope: Fictional data is stored locally in the browser. There is no login, cross-device synchronization or live PLC, ERP or WMS integration. Permissions, audit trails, backup and data security are planned separately for production projects.

Start with the workflow and introduce modules in stages

  1. Discovery: Review processes, workstations, forms, operational metrics and acceptance criteria.
  2. Pilot: Establish work orders and production reporting on one line.
  3. Expansion: Add quality, traceability and dashboards as needed.
  4. Integration and rollout: Confirm interfaces, test the solution, train users and deploy.

Equipment, ERP and WMS integration depends on supported interfaces, data formats, licensing and vendor cooperation. On-premises or cloud deployment is assessed against network, security and maintenance requirements.

Bring your process map, workstation count, reporting forms and equipment/system list to discuss project scope, schedule and pricing.
